Cashewnut Halwa/Kaju Halwa/Mundhiri Halwa/How to make Cashewnut Halwa/Quick Halwa recipe/Healthy Halwa with less Ghee

 Cashewnut Halwa


Cashewnut Halwa/Kaju Halwa is a very tasty, Quick and healthy dessert with less ghee. Halwa is an all time favourite sweet recipe which most of us like to eat. This Halwa made of Cashewnuts is very tasty and Appetizing because of the less ghee we add to make the dessert compared to other halwas. 




Serves-4

Cooking Time-15 Mins

Adjust the Ingredients according to the number of Persons you cook for.


Ingredients:

Cashew nuts-2 cups

Cardomom-10

Sugar-1 cup

Water-1/2 cup

Ghee-2 spoons

Food colour-1 tsp(optional)


Recipe:

Take a mixer jar, Add 2 cups of Cashewnuts and 10 cardomom and grind to a fine powder. Sieve the grinded Cashewnut powder and transfer to a bowl. To make the Halwa, take a wide pan, add 1 cup of sugar and 1/2 cup of water. Mix it well until the sugar dissolves. Let it boil till 1 string Consistency. Now add the grinded Cashewnut powder and mix well without any lumps. Keep stiring for few mins. Now add any food colour of your choice and mix well. Food colour is optional. You can leave it in the natural colour if you dont want to use any colour. Now add 1/2 cup of milk and cook well until it is non sticky to the pan. Roast about 10 cashewnuts till golden brown in ghee and add to the halwa and mix well. Now Delicious Halwa is ready to be served.
