Mushroom Manchurian
Mushroom Manchurian is a most Favourite Starter recipe which we mostly order in Restaurants. Mushroom is very Healthy and good for kids. This dish is a Combination of Mushrooms, Capsicum and Various sauces. This Starter is very easy to make and very tasty. Manchurian is a Chinese recipe but has now become popular in our Country too. It is a dry recipe which can be taken as a snack in the Evenings and also as a starter before lunch and dinner.
Serves-2
Cooking Time-10 mins
Ingredients:
Mushroom-200 gms
Maida-2 tbsp
Corn flour-2 tbsp
Ginger garlic paste-1 spoon
Chilli powder-2 spoons
Salt-2 tsp
Water-2 tbsp
Oil-Required for frying
Capsicum-1 sliced
Tomato sauce-1 spoon
Red chilli sauce-1 spoon
Soya sauce-1 spoon
Garlic-10(finely chopped)
Ginger-1 small piece(finely chopped)
Onion-1(finely chopped)
Turmeric powder-1 tsp
Pepper powder-1 tsp
Corn Flour-1 spoon(mixed in water)
Recipe:
Take 200 grms of Mushrooms and wash it twice in clean water. Cut them into small pieces.
To Prepare the Batter, add 2 tbsp maida, 2 tbsp corn flour, 1 spoon ginger garlic paste, 2 tsp salt, 1 spoon chilli powder. Mix them well to a thick batter consistency adding 2 tbsp of water gradually.
To deep fry the Mushrooms, Take a kadai and pour required oil for frying. After the oil is heated, Dip the cut mushrooms in the prepared batter and deep fry till golden brown. Transfer them to a plate.
To prepare the sauce,Take a pan add 2 tbsp of oil and let it heat. Add 10 garlic(finely chopped) and 1 piece of Finely chopped ginger and saute well. Add 1 finely chopped Onion, 1 tsp of Turmeric powder and saute till golden brown. Add 1 capsicum(sliced), 1 spoon of Chilli powder, 1 tsp pepper powder and all the 3 sauces and mix well. Dilute 1 spoon of Corn flour in water and add to the mixture. This binds all the ingredients together. Add the deep fried Mushrooms and mix gently. Now the mushroom recipe is ready to be served hot.
