Eggless Chocolate cake without oven

Chocolate cake recipe can be made easily at home without oven in a pressure cooker for any special occasions or festivals. 

Chocolate cake is kids favourite recipe and everyone loves to eat desserts. 

When we make cake at home by ourselves, it makes it more special for the occasion. Let's get started with the recipe.


Serves-6

Cooking Time-1 1/2 hrs

Adjust the Ingredients according to the number of people you cook for.

Ingredients

Chocolate Ganache

Cocoa powder-1/2 cup

Sugar-1/2 cup

Corn Flour-2 spoons

Milk-1 cup

Butter-1 spoon

Vannila Essence-1 spoon

Dark chocolate-4 pieces

Chocolate Cake

Butter milk-1 cup

Butter-100 gms

Maida-1 cup

Powdered sugar-1 cup

Cocoa powder-1/2 cup

Coffee powder-1 spoon

Baking powder-1 spoon

Baking soda-1/2 spoon

Milk-1 cup(boiled and cooked)

Recipe

Chocolate ganache

Take a sauce pan, add 1/2 cup cocoa powder, 1/2 cup sugar, 2 spoons of corn flour and mix well. Now add milk gradually and mix it without lumps.

Place the sauce sauce pan on the stove and keep stirring for 2 mins. When it starts thickening, add 1 spoon of butter and mix well. Then add 1 spoon of vannila essence and 4 pieces of dark chocolate and mix well until it comes to a thick consistency. Transfer it to a bowl and let it cool for 30 mins.

Chocolate cake

Take a glass bowl, add 1 cup of butter milk, 100 gms butter and mix well until it dissolves.

Sieve the following Ingredients and add to the mixture

Maida-1 cup

Powdered sugar-1 cup

Cocoa powder-1/2 cup

Coffee powder-1 spoon

Baking powder-1 spoon

Baking soda-1/2 spoon

After adding the above Ingredients to the mixture, add 1 cup milk(boiled and cooled) gradually to the mixture and mix it well until it comes to a smooth batter consistency.

Transfer the batter to a mould which is already greased with butter and dusted with cocoa powder.

Take a pressure cooker, fill it with salt at the bottom, place a stand on it and keep the cake mould on top of it.

Bake the cake for 1 hour in low flame without gas kette and whistle. After 1 hour open the lid and check whether it is baked well by poaking a knife or fork. 

Let it cool for 30 mins and transfer to a plate. Now cut the cake into 2 halves using a thread or knife.

Pour some sugar syrup and spread it well in the middle of the cake. Spread the chocolate ganache in the middle and the top of the cake completely.

Add the toppings for the cake as per your wish and decorate it beautifully. Now the cake is ready to be cut and served.
