Ingredients

Wheat flour-1 cup

Sugar-1 1/2 cups

Cardomom powder-1 spoon

ghee-1/2 cup

Cashewnuts-20

Dry grapes-20

Water-2 cups

Recipe

Take a pan, add 2 spoons of ghee. Roast the cashewnuts and dry grapes till golden brown and transfer to a plate.

In the same pan again add 3 more spoons of ghee and let it get heated. Now add 1 cup of wheat flour and roast it well till the raw smell goes. Wheat flour should be roasted in medium flame. When all the ghee is absorbed and raw smell goes, Switch off the stove.

For the sugar syrup,

Take a sauce pan, add 2 cups of water and let it boil. When it starts to boil, add 1 1/2 cups of sugar and mix well. When the sugar dissolves in water, add 1 spoon of cardomom powder and mix well.

Note: No need for any string consistency for the sugar syrup.

Place the pan on the stove and pour the sugar syrup to it. Mix it well till the water is completely absorbed. It should be mixed without any lumps so keep stirring until the water is absorbed.

When the halwa is non-sticky to the pan, add roasted cashewnuts and dry grapes and mix well.

Transfer to a plate and the Wheat Halwa is ready to be served.
